Treatment
A treatment with me consists of several steps in order to address my patients’ complaints holistically:
1. The initial consultation (anamnesis)
First, I take time for a detailed conversation with the patient. I ask about the current symptoms, medical history and any previous injuries or operations. This allows me to get a comprehensive picture of the patient's health and identify initial connections that indicate a possible cause of the symptoms.
2. The investigation
In the next step, I specifically palpate different areas of the body to detect tension, restricted movement or dysfunctions. I not only check the area where the symptoms occur, but also other parts of the body, as many complaints can be traced back to complex relationships in the body.
3. The treatment
I begin treatment based on the examination. I use different techniques, depending on whether I am working on the musculoskeletal system (parietal osteopathy), the internal organs (visceral osteopathy) or the nervous system and skull (craniosacral osteopathy). I use gentle manipulation, stretching or pressure techniques to release blockages and activate the body's self-healing powers. My goal is to restore the body's natural mobility and balance.
4. After treatment
After the treatment, I give the patient advice on how to support the healing process, be it through specific exercises or behavioral changes in everyday life.
5. Treatment duration and frequency
A treatment usually lasts between 40 and 60 minutes. How many sessions are necessary depends on the individual case.
